Ding, Ding, Ding, Ding, Graham Michael Arriving!

Graham Michael Garcia made his appearance on the afternoon of Saturday, 04 February at 5:33pm; he measured 19" and weighed 7lbs 4ozs. Graham's a welcome addition to our family and much like Ian is already full of life through a pair of full lungs for crying. He's a blessing in more ways than one in which Rachel, Ian, and I can already attest to. It never ceases to amazes us just how blessed we are and how wonderfully made we are in the image of God. Praise HIM!!!

Rachel was an excellent trooper for the entire duration. Her water broke in the early morning hours on that same Saturday around 2:00am. Made a "verification" call to her doctor and told us that we needed to immediately go to the hospital - don't wait another minute. Driving 70 mph in a 55mph highway was a joy for me. Thank God all the deer minded their business and stayed off the road. What should have taken a 45 minute to an hour drive lasted only 30 minutes. Juan is that good of a driver.

We made it to the hospital safely and Rachel was checked in without any issues. After confirming that her water broke we knew she was now committed. In short, she was in labor for approximately 15 hours before she started pushing, which for her only lasted 15 minutes before Graham said, "Hello, I'm here, the party can now start!!!!"

Below are a few of our pictures from the hospital. Enjoy them as much as we enjoyed the experience. At least I can say that, Rachel on the other hand, was glad to get it over.
