On Sept 1, 2013, Juan was promoted to Commander in the US Navy almost 20 years from the day he enlisted in the Navy. Below are a few pictures from the special day. Juan took the oath in English and Spanish and his mami, Aida was able to able to be with us. Aida and I put on his new collar devices and Ian gave Juan his new cover.
