As of June 18, We have moved out of our place in Portsmouth, RI. It was a long couple of days especially for Rachel dealing with movers and house cleaning. Juan had to be in school for the two days to participate in a Maritime Conference with the Secretary of the Navy and Chief of Naval Operations (CNO). Rachel's friend Jackie came over Tuesday to help out. We had a great time chatting with the movers.
Overall it was a good experience and the weather was perfect and allowed the movers to do their job without too much difficulty. By the end, Rachel was laying out in the yard on half of the sectional couch relaxing in the sun. Finally it was close to completion and she could put her feet up. The relaxing wasn't long because the movers needed to wrap the couch in moving saran wrap. They said if she didn't move, she would have the pleasure of getting wrapped up. They were kidding of course. They were a great moving crew and we had fun talking with them.
By the end of the two moving days, we were both exhausted. Now we are staying at our friends, the Wills. We really appreciate their hosting us.
This Friday, Juan graduates from the Naval War College with his Masters of Arts in National Security Policy and Strategic Studies. Yeah!
On Saturday, he leaves for a 5-day face to face turnover in Seoul, Korea will be back on the 26th. Please keep him in your thoughts and prayers.
