In honor of Ian's grandpa, a CPA.
November 1st was a busy day with a neighborhood yard sale. Juan and I decided to put a few items out and see what the results might be. Since our neighborhood is full of kids, I went through a bunch of my stuffed animals and put them out for sale in a huge bin. Juan decided to part with a few dvds that we hadn't watched in a while. Overall we had good success and made about $50 for a morning worth of sitting in the front yard. Ian joined us out front in his car seat and enjoyed the warm weather and some daddy time.
On base, Halloween is celebrated for two days, so Ian had to have two costumes, Day 1, he was a tax deduction, Day 2, a lion cub. Our neighborhood was innudated with kids on post and Korean families that are invited to Trick-or-Treat. Lots of cute costumes and good manners. The Korean kids really enjoyed getting the candy and some even made the rounds 2-3 times but they always said "thank you". Ian hung out with dad in the Ergo Carrier and had his picture taken quite a few times by some of the Korean moms. We can't help but laugh. Enjoy the pixs!
