Mt.Seorak Rocks!

One of the many rock formations at Mt. Seorak.

It was Columbus Day weekend and Juan had four days off - ohhhh, yeaaahhhh! We took advantage of this opportunity by taking a three-day, two-night Navy MWR Trip to the Mt. Seorak National Park. Considering traffic we made very good time getting there in approximately 5 hours. Upon our arrival we checked into our hotel, the Mt. Seorak Tourist Hotel. It was a very cozy one bedroom, one bathroom suite with heated floors. The rest of our time was to ourselves; our only commitment was regrouping every morning at the hotel restaurant at 7:30 for our complimentary breakfast and then at 1100 on the last day to meet the bus that would take us back to Yongsan.

The following pictures are but a glimpse to the fun and excitement we experienced at Mt. Seorak.

Accomodations were simple and relaxing.

Even bikers were on the way to Mt. Seorak.

A bird's-eye view from the cable car.

The scenery was breath-taking!

Everywhere we go, Ian always is the highlight among Korean ladies and girls.

Trust me, Ian really isn't all that awake in this picture!!! Can you tell???
