Picton, NZ

After two full days of touring, we decided to take it easy today at the port of Picton. We had no agenda except to take our time in the morning for breakfast, getting dressed for going out, and giving Ian a chance for some playtime before heading out into the small town of Picton.

Picton is a beautiful town located on the northern edge of New Zealand's southern island. It's a very quaint town; it's the "southern gateway" for ferrying up to the North Island. The people we came across were very friendly and even Ian met a couple of little girls to talk to - he was practicing his "macking" skills. Don't worry, it wasn't working on the little girls!

We spent the afternoon walking about the town center, the park, and simply sitting on the benches along the waterfront. It was a very relaxing afternoon in which Ian enjoyed just getting up and walking about. It was good time had by all.
