All Moved In!!!

It has been a busy week for the both of us. Juan with a Joint Exercise for work with long hours, late nights, and lots of briefs to prepare and attend. Rachel spent the week attending classes and preparing for move in day this past Thursday. It is a blessing to have all our stuff prior
to Ian making his debut in about a week or so.
Monday, Rachel got a call from the Transportation Office saying our shipment was in country and she scheduled the movein asap.
The Korean movers are great and just as good as the Japanese movers in Yokosuka, they definately take great pride in their job and they are quick. At exactly 10am they arrived and the five movers were done before 200pm. For us it seemed like a record. Juan was even able to make it home for a few hours to help direct traffic. Many thanks to our new friend and neighbor, Blanca for helping us on movein day.
This past weekend, we did take some time to venture out in town to Itaewan for lunch at an Indian restaurant and shopping. Rachel and Blanca found a jewelry store going out of business and Rachel took Juan back to take a look at the merchandise. Korea is known for Amethysts, and we found a great deal on a 14K Amethyst ring for$40. The week before Rachel found a beautiful Amethyst bracelet for her mom.
Upon returning home, we tackled some more boxes and made good progress on the living and dining room. Saturday we also purchased a beautiful natural wood Korean display case. We had been looking for one since we purchased our dining room set about 8 years ago. Rachel saw it first and loved it, this is the first time we have been in mutual agreement about a display case. Yeah!
Here it is Sunday and we have made good progress on our house not officially considered a home. It is so nice to sleep in our own bed and have Ian's crib put together and his room almost completely organized.
