It's awesome to believe that it's been over a week now since Ian has joined our family. We have experienced a joy and laughter that was uncommon to us before we had Ian. It's not to say that our lives are better now than before, it's only to say that with Ian's presence, he has transferred our train from one set of tracks to another. Though it will be a while till we return to the old tracks (17 years, 11 months, 22 days), we look forward to the new destination and the intermediate stops along the way of this track called life.
It's never a dull moment between Juan, Rachel, and Ian. If it's not one thing it's another thing that captures a smile or a laugh as a result of Ian's personality. Recently, Ian had to make a stop at the Emergency Room. Juan and Rachel noticed white specks and patches on Ian's tongue. It was a couple of days before it started looking worse. The ER doctor's confirmed Rachel's initial diagnosis in that Ian was exhibiting the fungal growth, oral thrush. Juan and Rachel were able to pick up on it rather quickly. After a few days of administering prescribed medicine, Ian's tongue is looking better.

Just giving baths and changing Ian's diapers brings a smile to both Juan and Rachel - the diapers aren't stinky, yet; when that day comes we should have our gas masks delivered - not to mention Ian's unpredictability of when he'll strike with "golden showers" on Juan. Yeah, keep it up Ian!!! In the big scheme of things, it's more funny than worth getting frustrated.
We're hoping to hit the Seoul scene with Ian tomorrow if not today. We plan on going to one of Korea's National Museums just outside one of the post Gates. So be on the look out for new pixs within the next 48 hours.
