HI Everyone
We were hoping to have the blog updated last weekend but time got away from us. Last weekend we took Ian on a field trip to Osan Air Force Base, which is an hour bus ride away from Yongson/Seoul. We just wanted to get off the base and Osan offers a lot of great shopping i.e. suits, mink blankets, purses, etc. The bus departed at noon and when we arrived we happened on a local festival. We love these kind of outings and the festival offered a wide array of local food, we tried a waffle with honey and cream. It was very good! Ian did very well on the trip, slept most of the time in his Ergo Carrier (one of our top 5 must haves for every new parent) and woke for feeding.
Last week he also had his 2 week pediatric appt, he is doing well and developing normally. At the appt, he was weighed and still hadn't reached 7 pounds. Now that he is 3 weeks old, we are guessing that he has probably reached 7 pounds with the amount of food he has been eating in the last week. He has received the nickname "Baby Barracuda" because he is all business when it comes to his food.
