As of July 23rd, we moved into our place on base. Our express shipment arrived the same day and we are kicking ourselves for not increasing our weight allotment from 1000 pounds to more. A lesson learned for the next move. The next shipment is scheduled to arrived Sept 2, Ian's estimated birthdate. We are hoping and praying that it will arrive ahead of time but glad we have some key items for him just in case it is after, i.e. car seat, sling, bassinet, and clothes.
We are getting used to being on an Army base or as the Army calls it "Post". We are doing a lot of walking and riding the bus since we can't rent or buy a car until we have our Korean driver's license. Rachel will be taking her test monday and Juan is hoping that work lets up just a bit to give him time to take in on Tuesday. We have our eye out for a car but so far nothing of interest.
High PCS or move season is fast approaching so there may be a few more vehicles available in the next few days to weeks.
